This page explains, in plain language, what information Motion AI collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.
Information we collect
Account details: your email address, name and avatar as provided by the sign-in provider you choose (for example Google). Generation data: the prompts, scripts, uploaded images and settings you submit, the code and videos we generate for you, and whether each generation succeeded, failed or was blocked. Billing: subscription status and a customer reference from our payment provider; card details never reach our servers. Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Support: anything you send through the contact or feedback forms.
How we use it
To run the product and deliver your videos; to bill your subscription and enforce plan limits; to detect abuse, including blocked-prompt records and rate limiting; to diagnose failures and improve generation quality; to respond to support requests; and to understand which parts of the product are used. We do not train AI models on your prompts or generated videos.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We also set one first-party analytics cookie (motionai_aid) that assigns a random identifier so we can understand how visitors move through the site before and after signing up. It is not shared with advertisers and holds no personal details. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers needed to operate the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Amazon Web Services (video rendering and storage), Polar (payments), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI generation and voiceover), and Pexels (stock footage). Each processes data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Account and generation records are kept while your account exists. Rendered videos expire from storage after a limited period, which is shown alongside each video. Technical logs used for abuse prevention and debugging are kept for up to 12 months. When you delete your account we remove your account, videos, settings and subscription record, and detach your identity from any logs we must keep for security or legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account yourself from the dashboard. For any other request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
